In this post, we are putting our Ad Scheduling (Dayparting) features to the test. To demonstrate how precisely Adpresso handles time-based delivery, we have embedded seven different ad units directly below this text—one for each day of the week.
While the backend contains a full stack of seven ads, the scheduling logic ensures that you will only ever see one single ad at a time: the one matching today’s current weekday. If the system is working correctly, the other six ads will remain suppressed, optimizing the layout and ensuring relevance. This setup allows us to verify that our “Active View” and “Lazy Loading” metrics interact perfectly with time-restricted placements.
Testing Time-of-Day Delivery
To further refine our scheduling logic, this section features two ad placements configured for specific time slots. We have split the day into two distinct halves: one ad is scheduled to appear during the first half of the day (AM), and the other for the second half (PM).
Just like our weekday test, you should only see one active ad based on your current local time. This setup allows us to confirm that the system accurately transitions between creative assets at the midday mark, providing seamless, time-sensitive targeting without any overlapping content.
